These are molds of Layla's hands and feet that the hospital made for me when Layla died.  I now keep them in a memorial box with a lock of her hair and a few other memories.

This is a card that I had made to send out in Thank You notes after Layla's funeral.  The company actually got them wrong, but there was not enough time to have them done over, so I sent them anyway. 

Layla's Aunt Jill and I made about 150 of these one afternoon.  We passed them out to family and friends.  It was very theraputic.  I think they came out pretty.

This is a Loblolly Pine tree that was adopted in Layla's name at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center.  I will be going there twice a year to visit the tree and see it's growth.  The tree was adopted for my family by the Pet Share board of directors.  Thank you!  Click on the photo to visit their website.

This is the temporary marker that was used until the permanent marker was ready.  I now have this at home with me and will plant a flower garden in the spring and put it there.
